Sylvia Jennings

Sylvia grew up in a family of 6 kids on a farm in Moorhead, Minnesota, home to hot dish, sugar beets, and ice fishing (oofda!). After J-school at the U of M, she headed west to Grand Junction, Colorado in search of a TV job, where she met Wayne and eventually became his broadcasting partner. Their successful news programs at KKTV offered excitement, but the relentless schedule put a strain on family life. 5 years later, Sylvia and Wayne retired from TV and joined RE/MAX. Sylvia says being a mom to their two daughters, who are now in their 20's,has been the best job. But after that, real estate beats broadcasting, hands down. She says years in journalism make her a better real estate agent. But being part of a big family taught her all she needed to know about negotiating!
